My name is Duncan Kemp, Woodturner, and I live in the Victoria Gonzalez area. I collect wood from the Victoria area to make my pieces, looking to combine the elements of function and practicality,

I spent all of my working life as a dentist, a career I thoroughly enjoyed.

On retiring I started Woodturning.  I’m not sure what sparked my interest but once I started, I got bitten by the bug.  My progress was helped by guidance from a number of people, including Peter Hackett, Mike Neal, and Ken Strong, with the Island Woodturners Guild.
